1. Introduction
Pelivo ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Pelivo mobile application (the "App") handles information when you browse content, create image drafts, save activity, and use profile features.
2. Information We Handle
2.1 Information Stored in the App
The App stores or processes the following categories of information to provide core features:
- Local profile and session data: A locally stored profile record such as username, nickname, avatar, bio, and session state.
- Creative data: Text prompts, selected styles, and image drafts created through the Studio flow.
- Preferences and activity: Saved items, likes, shares, hidden posts, blocked creators, reports, and related in-app settings.
2.2 Information Used During Requests
Some information is transmitted only when needed to complete a user action:
- Image generation requests: When you request image generation and provide consent in the app, your prompt text and selected style are sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, the third-party image generation provider needed to return a result.
- Remote media loading: When the App loads hosted images, the relevant image host may receive standard network request data such as IP address and device request metadata.
2.3 Profile Photos and Face Data
If you choose a profile photo, that image may contain your face. In the current Pelivo build, profile photos are used only for local profile display and editing on your device.
- What Pelivo may handle locally: The profile photo you choose and its local file reference on your device.
- What Pelivo does not collect: Pelivo does not create or store face templates, faceprints, facial geometry, landmarks, or embeddings, and does not use face recognition or identity verification.
- What Pelivo does not send for Studio generation: Pelivo does not send your profile photo or face data to Alibaba Cloud DashScope for Studio image generation in this build.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information handled by the App to:
- Provide browsing, discovery, profile, and draft-management features
- Process image generation requests and return draft results
- Display your optional profile photo locally in your profile experience
- Store local preferences and moderation actions such as reports, hidden posts, and blocked creators
- Support account deletion on the device, troubleshooting, and support requests
4. Data Storage and Security
Most app data is stored locally on your device. We use platform storage mechanisms and network security controls that are appropriate for app operation.
- Profile details, preferences, saved activity, and draft records are primarily kept on-device.
- Optional profile photos and their local file references remain on-device unless you choose to share them outside the App.
- Prompt data is transmitted when needed to complete an image-generation request.
- If you share content through the iOS share sheet, the selected destination handles that content under its own policies.
Important: Deleting the account from Settings is intended to remove locally stored session, profile, and app data from the device.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to provide certain features:
- Image generation provider: Alibaba Cloud DashScope receives your prompt text and selected style, plus the technical request data needed to complete the image-generation request and return a result.
- Hosted media providers: Gallery and discovery images may be delivered from third-party hosting services.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party providers only when needed to operate image generation and hosted media delivery. For Studio generation in this build, that shared request data is limited to prompt text and selected style. Optional profile photos and face data are not shared with the Studio image-generation provider.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can manage the following choices inside the App:
- Profile edits: You can update your nickname, avatar, and bio from Profile.
- Session controls: You can sign out on the current device through Settings.
- Local data deletion: You can use Settings > Delete Account to clear locally stored profile and app data from the device.
- Safety controls: You can report content, hide posts, or block creators from supported feed and detail views.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9. Data Retention
Locally stored data remains on the device until you delete it, remove the App, or use the in-app deletion controls. Optional profile photos and their local file references remain on the device until you replace the photo, delete your account, or remove the App. Pelivo does not retain profile photos on its own servers for this build. For Studio image generation, saved draft records remain on your device until you delete them or clear app data. According to Alibaba Cloud DashScope documentation, task data and returned image URLs may remain available for up to 24 hours before they are automatically cleared by the provider.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

By using the App, you consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
